Piemonte:
la regione deve il nome al fatto di trovarsi
"ai piedi dei monti": le imponenti catene
alpine accolgono rinomate località sciistiche
quali Sestriere, Bardonecchia, Limone Piemonte.
Il capoluogo, Torino, è una città d'arte barocca
ricca di storia con uno dei musei egizi più
importanti del mondo.
Oltre alla presenza di grandi industrie, nel
Piemonte hanno particolare rilievo le produzioni
vinicole (Barolo e Barbera) delle colline
meridionali.
Le colline delle Langhe e del Monferrato sono
famose per le delizie enogastronomiche, prodotti
tipici e per il pregiato tartufo bianco. |

art and has one of the most important Egyptian
museums in the world.
Piedmont is a large industrial centre and
the wine produced on its southern hills (Barolo
and Barbera) is particularly important.
Monferrato and Langhe hills are famous for
its superb foods, wine typical produts and
for the esteemed White Truffle. |
